Coromandel Valley Kindergarten

Welcome

Coromandel Valley Kindergarten provides an educational program for pre-school children within a caring, safe and attractive environment. We are situated on a large shady block, next to a reserve. Staff, children and parents value the learning opportunities the outdoor area provides.

The kindergarten is a locally managed Department for Education and Child Development (DECD) site.  The staff, parents and voluntary Governing Council members work together to maintain and develop the site, learning curriculum and site policies.

You are welcome to contact us by phone or email to discuss your child’s pre-school learning and what we can offer.

The kindergarten operates full time with kindergarten sessions operating Monday to Thursday.

Our aim is for your child to enjoy learning and become a confident learner ready to move on into the formal schooling sector.

We participate in the local community and plan excursions and visitors to link with the educational program.

We encourage formal and informal reviews and evaluation of your child’s progress during their kindergarten year.

If you have concerns about your child’s development or learning, support services can be provided for children and families and are available through DECD: social worker; speech pathologist; psychologist; pre-school support; bi-lingual support; Aboriginal educator.

We encourage you to have your child’s details on our Waiting List and we will contact you to invite you and your child to an information session.  If your child has a diagnosed disability, significant learning needs or significant medical issues please discuss these with us prior to the information session.
